The biggest free food festival in Wales takes place in Roald Dahl Plass, Cardiff Bay, with over 100 local, national and international producers. Visitors can explore the stalls at the Producers’ Fayre and tantalise their taste buds with the variety of food and drink on offer – including artisan breads, organic cheeses and homemade liqueurs. Plus, street food might be all the rage these days, but it’s been on offer at the Food & Drink Festival for 17 years! Don’t miss tucking into some of the finest street food in Wales at the Street Food Piazza. With numerous bars, craft stalls and live music, it’s easy to see why the foodie event remains one of Cardiff’s favourite summer dishes.

Rounding off a summer of fun in Cardiff Bay, the Cardiff Harbour Festival will be playing host to the exciting Extreme Sailing Series. The global competition boasts world class sailors and breath-taking racing, as well as shoreside entertainment for the whole family – including the popular Cardiff Bay Beach that transforms the Roald Dahl Plass.
