Aqua Park Cardiff is back and will be bigger, wetter n’ wilder than ever before!

Bouncing back after the pandemic, the water park has returned with brand new items, featuring the largest collection of bespoke big impact water obstacles in the UK, including climbing walls, trampolines, giant slides, blast bags and the infamous ‘Tornado Tower’.

Located on Cardiff Bay Barrage, the park will be operating at a reduced capacity to create a spacious atmosphere for thrill seeking families, students, sports teams and fitness groups to take on the inflatables.

Simon James, Founder of Aqua Park Cardiff comments: “I can’t wait for people to get back out on the water and would like to thank everyone for the support we have received throughout 2020. Now more than ever, we have a great responsibility to help visitors restore their physical and mental health. We are really excited to be playing our part, giving families in the local community of Cardiff much needed access to a fulfilling outdoor experience.”

New for 2021 is the Aqua Park Season Pass, which covers entry to four UK locations and allows pass holders to book up to twice a week for the whole summer for less than the cost of two visits! The Season Pass gives families an easy and cost effective way to keep the kids active throughout a staycation summer.

Along with the new items and a different layout, the park has reopened with many areas of the operation updated to increase visitor safety, some of which include reduced capacity and staggered start times for sessions. All of this means that there will be more space for visitors to enjoy the park.

Tickets are priced at £20 for a one hour session. Wetsuits can be hired on the day for £5 or purchased in advance, and it’s recommended that you wear your own wherever possible.

As an active attraction, visitors to Aqua Park Cardiff need to be ready for the physical challenge and must be aged eight and over, 1.2m tall and able to swim 25 metres unaided to take part. Buoyancy aids are provided.

In September, the attraction is open during weekends until 19th September.
